Our history

Since in 1943 Domingo Rodríguez Suárez founded this company, we have been striving to print the same character of firmness and wise courageous initiative that showed our founder in the begginings.
Since then, in the same place where Destilerías Espronceda started work, we are dedicated to producing, from the best of each fruit, the most authentic and typical liqueurs with the same quality of yesteryear, now backed by the wealth of experience gained over more than half a century, confirmed anywhere.
Today we are proud of our history and our work over the years, and we and our successors, will continue to participate with the same resolute determination to enhance a tradition that by its peculiar character is probably unique.
Facilities
Located in the heart of Almendralejo, our company has a facility of 5,500 m². The bottling plant has a production capacity of 6,500 bottles per hour. We have the prestigious world food quality certificates IFS and BRC, which guarantees the reliability and quality of our products, thus offering our customers the ability to develop their own brands.
At present, the volume of sales exceeds 3.5 million bottles per year. In our continuous growth and innovation effort, Destilerías Espronceda has its own R & D Department, in which we develop new products unique in the market.
Destilerías Espronceda also has three separate stores for the location of raw materials, packaging and finished products. In the main building are our offices, within which our laboratory is located.
